This course is suitable for highly motivated students who excel in mathematics and want to broaden and deepen their analytical skills alongside standard A-level Mathematics. It is ideal for those preparing for higher education or technical careers in physics, engineering, computer science, economics, and pure mathematics. Students will master advanced, rigorous concepts, including complex numbers, matrices, and differential equations. They will also develop specialized expertise in optional areas like mechanics, statistics, or discrete mathematics. What you need to get on

For all Sixth Form courses, students must have 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes at Grades 9-4. For this course this must include Mathematics at a Grade 8 or above and English Language/Literature at a Grade 4 or above.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
