What the college says
If you're interested in business but not ready to commit to a totally work related route to further study or employment, this course will give you the chance to get a taste of business, alongside other subjects such as A levels or other work related qualifications. Equivalent to 1 A level, the course combines well with most other Level 3 subjects and would suit you if you prefer a combination of coursework and exams to a linear course with a final exam. You don't need any previous qualifications or experience in business and the course will give you useful transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis that are useful in a wide range of careers.
What you need to get on
4-5 GCSE's grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
