This course is for students who want to continue studying French after GCSE. It will suit you if you enjoy languages and want to develop your understanding of French culture and society. It takes time and dedication to become confident in a language so you will need to be hard working and willing to persevere.

What you need to get on

To gain a place in the Sixth Form all students will ideally have at least grade 4 in both an English and Maths and at least three other GCSEs, or Level 2 qualifications, at grade 5 or above. Plus additional subject criteria: Grade 6 in French

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
