Environmental science is a modern A level addressing some of the most challenging issues of our time while exploring opportunities to develop in a sustainable way for the future. If you’re interested in a career in forward thinking industries concerning any aspect of the natural world then Environmental Science will give you a good grounding in the knowledge and skills you will need to develop your career. Future jobs might include: ● Biodiversity scientist ● Environmental consultant, engineer or manager ● Minerals surveyor ● Nature conservation officer ● Recycling or waste management consultant ● Sustainability officer ● Sustainable energy engineer or scientist ● Town planner ● Water quality scientist The A level includes two full days of field work as well as some mathematics and a small amount of lab work.
