What the college says

An A-Level in Environmental Science is a multi-disciplined approach to science which provides learners with the opportunity to study the world from multiple standpoints. A great accompaniment to biology, chemistry, physics, maths and geography A Levels, the course will enable students to develop the scientific understanding and practical skills needed to tackle many of the world's major environmental (and societal) problems such as climate change, food security, water resources, pollution and conservation.

What you need to get on

A minimum of five GCSEs at grades 4-9, including a minimum of grade 5 in English and maths and at least a grade 6 or above at GCSE in both biology and either chemistry or physics for triple science students or grade 6/6 for combined science students.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
