English Literature isn’t just about reading books though; we look at how social/political/historical context can have an impact on literature, links between literature written at different times and it can help you improve your verbal and written communication skills. In addition to this, it encourages independent and critical thought, empathy for a variety of different characters and situations and also helps you to improve your analytical skills.

What you need to get on

A minimum of a grade 6 in English Literature is required.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
