Economics is the study of how, as individuals and as a society, we try to make the best of the resources we have. In it we look at how markets work, why prices are higher for some things than others, why some people are richer than others and how we can make everyone better off. It will help you understand the current economic crisis and how to end up a winner.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 or above in Maths and English Language are essential.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
