What the college says

This Level 3 qualification fulfils the purposes defined by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The course will provide you with a good knowledge of developments in the UK economy and government policies over the past 25 years. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand and analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions. Students will also develop your quantitative skills and appreciate that, when evaluating arguments, both qualitative and quantitative evidence are important. The course places emphasis on analysing problems and alternative solutions, rather than merely describing them.
