GCE A Level Economics B is designed for learners who are interested in understanding how economies work at a local, national and global level. It is suitable for students who enjoy analysing real‑world issues, debating current economic problems, and developing logical, evidence‑based arguments. No prior study of economics is required, although learners should be confident with written work, basic numeracy and data interpretation.
What you need to get on
5 9-4 GCSE, including a English and Maths at a grade 4 or above.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
