Economics aims to inspire and challenge pupils to fulfil their potential and provide a passion for lifelong learning in the world of Economics. The A-Level Economics course requires students to develop an understanding of economic concepts and theories through a critical consideration of cuc issues, problems and instructions that affect everyday life; to analyse, explain and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the market economy and the role of government within it; and to develop a critical approach to economic models and methods of enquiry.

5 GCSEs at Grade 5+ including English and Maths as well as Grade 6 in both English and Mathematics
