This course is for anyone move on toing from GCSE with a keen interest in acting, directing and performing. It would suit you if you enjoy watching live drama and have a passion to create theatre yourself. You may be choosing this course because you're interested in working in the theatre or aiming to study drama or performing arts at university, though it will provide you with a range of transferable skills including creativity, communication and teamwork that can be used in a variety of careers. This course compliments other arts and humanities subjects such as English language, English literature and history.

What you need to get on

Standard entrance criteria for 6th form: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths. Course specific entry requirements: Grade 6 in English Literature or a 5 in English Language.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
