What the college says
Students will gain a deeper understanding of the living world by analysing the fundamental concepts of science. They will be guided to become independent thinkers and gain the skills to apply their knowledge in a range of different situations. Practical activities are embedded within the learning outcomes of the course, further enhancing learners’ understanding of biological theory and developing a practical skillset. Practical endorsement is awarded to those pupils who attain high levels of practical competency which is looked upon favourably by universities and employers.
What you need to get on
In addition to the general requirements for access onto A Level courses, pupils would be expected to achieve a grade 6-6 in combined/single sciences and a grade 5 in both English and mathematics.
