Pearson Edexcel, 2-year, Level 3, A Level course. Fine Art is a diverse, in depth, inspiring and practical investigation into a range of media and techniques. You will explore the work of an extensive range of artists and designers and have the opportunity to access media such as painting, printmaking, sculpture, digital art and installation to create a broad and extensive portfolio. You are encouraged to express your own artistic identity and will explore independently identified themes. As far as possible the course will be tailored to support your own interests.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 in either GCSE Fine Art/Art & Design, GCSE Photography, GCSE Textiles, Merit in BTEC Art (Level 2) or approval of portfolio.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
