What the college says
You will learn about the fundamental concepts of accounting including: double entry bookkeeping and how to prepare income statements and statements of financial position for sole traders and limited companies. You will gain an in-depth understanding of management accounting, budgetary controls, ratio analysis and the impact of technology on accounting. You will develop a number of wider skills including: organisation and assessment of data, investigation and analysis, effective communication, working on your own initiative and methodical and critical thinking.

6 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths Subject Specific: GCSE Maths at grade 6 or above.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
