This course offers a wide variety of subject matter that is designed to provide an awareness of topical geographic issues and the interconnections between people and the environment. This course will appeal to students who are interested in topics such as climate change, economic growth, migration, natural hazards, regeneration and coastal geography. Emphasis is placed on how people interact with their environment and pupils will study sustainable solutions to the problems which arise. This is an innovative and exciting course that supports an enquiry based approach to learning, allowing students to develop decision making, analytical and fieldwork skills.
