Throughout the course, students will study Further Core Mathematical Principles along with 2 optional applied units of: Discrete Mathematics, Statistics or Mechanics. This is very much a student-centred course where the students set the pace of the course and work together during lesson time.

What you need to get on

To study Further Mathematics at A Level, students must achieve a Grade 7 or above in GCSE Mathematics. Students may be required to sit a strict entrance exam to ensure suitability for the course.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
