What the college says
A level Economics is about applying economic theory to support analysis of current economic problems and issues, and encourage students to appreciate the interrelationships between microeconomics (economics in particular markets e.g. housing, car markets) and macroeconomics (the overall economy that government policy is based on e.g. unemployment, national debt etc. We will develop engaging and up-to-date content so that students can relate what they are learning to the world around them – locally, nationally and globally. Course requirements - 5 GCSE's at Grades 9-4. Minimum grade 5 in Maths and English
