Awarding Body: Edexcel In the first year students will study two units: marketing and people; and managing business activities. In marketing and people, students will study theories relating to how a business meets customer needs, the market, marketing mix and strategy, managing people and entrepreneurs and leaders. In managing business activities, students will learn about theories relating to raising finance, financial planning, managing finance, resource management and the impact of external influences. In the second year students will study three units: marketing, people and global businesses, business activities, decisions and strategy, and investigating business in a competitive environment.

General Requirements : 6 grade 5-9 GCSE passes including 5 or higher English Lang AND Maths Additional or Specific Requirements : Grade 5 or above in GCSE Business or related subject

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
