The A-level Biology course will cover all aspects of fundamental biology in plants and animals from cell structure and immune systems, to ecology and conservation. Biology would be useful if you are looking to pursue a career in any of the biological or nature sciences such as genetics, biochemistry, botany or zoology. Although not essential, many students wanting to work in one of the health care professions such as medicine, nursing, dentistry or physiotherapy study this subject.
