Entry Level will be suitable for all candidates who have an interest in motor vehicles but have no previous knowledge or experience. Ideally, you will enjoy fixing things and finding out how things work, have an inquisitive mind and want to become a motor vehicle technician. This level is ideal for learners with an EHCP, and LDD, or for anyone who feels they may struggle with the transition from school into college. It is suitable for candidates who find social and emotional situations stressful and want to develop these skills and build confidence before progressing to level 1.
What you need to get on
This course is open to any candidate who wants to learn more about motor vehicles and pursue a career in this sector. All candidates will have a grade 2 or above in English and maths.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
