Students wanting to study Further Mathematics must be willing to put in sufficient time and effort to reap the rewards. In particular, skills such as pattern spotting, analysis, logical thinking, problem solving, creativity, decision making are very desirable. If A-level Maths is like the gold key to give you the access to ALL university courses, then the A-level Further Maths is the stepping stone to the world top ranking universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick and Imperial, as well as Harvard University and M.I.T in the USA. It will also provide the opportunity for you to study the top 5% of highly demanding academic degrees.

What you need to get on

Grade 7 in Maths GCSE All students are required to obtain at least 80% in their Maths entry test.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
