As well as being an intellectually stimulating subject in its own right, A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics equips students with the necessary skills (problem solving, logic and clear thinking) to support many other subjects, including Sciences, Economics, Geography, ICT to name but a few. Further Mathematics will also provide the challenges that highability mathematics students need to enable them to develop their knowledge and skills appropriate to first year university/degree level.
