This course will appeal to students if they are interested in, and have the ability to study Further Maths. If students would like to pursue maths at University, a pathway which will have demanding mathematical content, this course will develop their knowledge, giving them a clear understanding of mathematics and mathematical processes in a way that promotes confidence and fosters enjoyment. Students will develop abilities to reason logically and recognise incorrect reasoning, to generalise and to construct mathematical proofs.
