Further mathematics is an AS/A Level which broadens and deepens the mathematics covered in A Level Mathematics. It develops your mathematical ability and introduces you to new topics, such as matrices and complex numbers, which are vital for mathematics-rich degrees in areas such as sciences, engineering, statistics and computing, as well as mathematics itself. Further Mathematics is studied alongside A Level Mathematics.

Students must have achieved a minimum of Grade A* GCSE in Mathematics for entry onto this course
