The Further Mathematics Linear A Level aims to provide a deeper insight into the vast and mesmerising world of mathematics. The course goes far beyond the need to know day to day basics. It is designed for those who have a real interest and excitement in mathematics and goes some way to introduce you to branches of mathematics that few ever witness let alone master. This said, interest and self-motivation remain the most necessary skills to possess in order to succeed here. Ability alone is not what we are looking for.

What you need to get on

Equivalent of five GCSE's Grade 5 and a Grade 8 in Maths

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
