If you are in Grantham, if you want to build your English skills and live in Lincolnshire, this funded course is your opportunity to move forward. In 12 weeks, you will work towards Functional Skills English at the level that suits you. You do not need any previous qualifications, just the motivation to get started.

What you need to get on

Aged 19 or over (no upper age limit). Live in County of Lincolnshire (within the Lincolnshire County Council area). Unemployed and receiving benefits; OR economically inactive (e.g. caring responsibilities or health reasons); OR employed and earning below £25,750 gross per year.. Income: Below £25,750 gross per year (if employed). Must have the right to work and study in the UK. Must not already hold a GCSE in English at grade C (grade 4) or above.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
