The aim of this course is to develop, consolidate and students' command of the language in a relaxed and supportive learning environment. Students will discuss topics and issues related to contemporary current affairs and culture of French-speaking countries. The course will focus on improving speaking and research skills. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss learning outcomes with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals i.e.: progression to a higher stage.
What you need to get on
A very good command of the language equivalent to A-level or similar in all four skills. An active and interest in current affairs and cultural topics related to social, political and cultural issues. Enthusiasm for the subject and commitment are also valuable assets as the course requires a fair amount of research and written homework.
