What the college says
This course allows you to study construction and the built environment, giving you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the industry. You will develop skills such as interpreting and analysing information, identifying the infrastructure required for safe and efficient work and in understanding how client needs can shape building design. It gives you the opportunity to learn about one of the most important sectors of the UK economy.
What you need to get on
Students will be required to have an average GCSE point score of 2.6 for the level 2 pathway, before progressing onto the Level 3 Pathway in Year 13. .
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
