Art at Allerton Grange is superb and provides opportunities for those with visual, creative and design interests. The A Level course has two components: a personal investigation including a personal study (essay) and an externally set assignment.
What you need to get on
To take 3 A Levels at Allerton Grange you are required to have a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at grade 4 and above. Art and Design specific requirements are English Language grade 4 or above, Maths grade 4 or above and a grade 5 or above in either Fine Art, Three Dimensional Design or Photography. Portfolio submissions from students who have not completed this subject at GCSE will be considered at the discretion of the subject teachers
