Equivalent to 3 A Levels, a total of 72-168 UCAS points, depending on grades achieved. This course provides an opportunity for those students who have ambitions and aspirations of a career in the fashion, to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure that is stimulating and demanding. You will work towards and explore a wide range of disciplines, materials and media, and will have the opportunity to focus and specialise your practice. You will complete various projects which require you to develop your practical skills by experimenting with a range of materials, media and processes and demonstrate your understanding of the creative process. You will then respond to a set brief to produce a body of work for the College end of year show. You will also complete a specialist research project linked to your areas of interest. This will be accompanied by projects which require you to develop your technical & practical skills within your chosen specialism. Your final synoptic assessment requires you to draw on everything you have learnt over the two years, and propose, plan and fully realise a self-directed and individual specialist practice project which will be exhibited in the College end of year show.
