What the college says
The Extended Project is a Level 3 qualification You will need to identify, design, plan and complete an individual project which will ideally develop and extend one or more of your study areas and/or from. The project may also have a link to an area of personal interest or activity outside you A-Level programme. In consultation with a supervisor you will choose and develop your final project. The EPQ is studied as either part of the AIB plus 3 A Levels or 3 A Levels and 1 IB Standard or, in exceptional circumstances, as part of the A Level programme with 4 A Levels. There will also be a taught aspect of the course where you will learn vital research, organisational and presentational skills.
