Students who are flourishing on their A level courses can apply for a place to complete the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) towards the end of their lower sixth year. This research-based qualification is highly valued by universities as it develops students’ advanced skills such as critical analysis, independent working, research, presentation and project management. Students on the EPQ course are studying A levels from a diversity of subjects in the Humanities, Sciences and Arts areas.
