Level 3Stepping stonesProject/Extended Project within Diploma (14-19)1 yearFull time

What the college says

The EPQ allows each student to embark on a largely self-directed and self-motivated project. Students must choose a topic, plan, research and develop their idea and decide on their finished product. We encourage creativity and curiosity. A project topic may be directly related to a student's main study programme, but should look beyond the specification.

What you need to get on

General 6th Form entry requirements. The Extended Project Qualification will start during Year 12. Students should be highly motivated and organised. These skills are essential as the majority of work is completed in non-lesson time and students will have to be independent in their approach.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
