This course provides an opportunity for students to extend their abilities beyond the A-level syllabus, stand out and prepare for university or their future career. It can also be used to earn extra UCAS points.

What you need to get on

To study a course of A levels you will be expected to achieve a minimum of 5 grades 4 or above, including English and Mathematics as well as a Grade 6 or above in your chosen subjects (or a related one - see details in subject section) at GCSE. In addition, before accepting you onto an advanced level programme we will take into account your average GCSE points score. You should be aiming for a score in excess of 6.0 to give you a good basis for success at A-level.
