What the college says

This Level 3 qualification is an individual research project on a topic of the student's choice, presenting an argument, for example on a Historical, Scientific, Environmental, or Literary topic. It is approximately 5000 words in length and develop students' understanding of how to evaluate both primary and secondary research and appendices or it can be an artefact with a 1000 word essay. The EPQ develops students' skills in how to plan, research, analyse information and then evaluate and review their final product.

An additional qualification that students can opt to study in either Year 12 or 13

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
