What the college says

This intermediate level course prepares you for a career in the Health and Social Care sector. You will be led by dedicated tutors with experience in a variety of sectors. The aim of this course is to provide you with knowledge and understanding of core subject areas in health and social care, giving you access to further studies or a position within the workplace. There will be an opportunity to attend work placement, where you can gain hands-on experience of your sector, alongsside the support of your tutor. This qualification will be graded A*-D and will be assessed using a range of methods. After gaining your qualification, this will give you an opportunity to work within the health and care sector as a health care assistant.
