This is a new course that brings together skills from across clothing and costume to help you create a vibrant and imaginative portfolio of costume design. The course will provide you with the skills to: Gather historical research to develop and communicate ideas through sketchbooks, 2D storyboards and costume designs Analyze a script for character interpretation Costume construction skills Gain an understanding of the role and responsibilities of the costume designer

What you need to get on

4 x GCSEs 9-4/A*-C or equivalent qualifications. GCSE English minimum grade 3/D and Maths 2/E in Maths or Functional Skills Level 1. (If you have Maths / English at grade 3 / D or below you would be required to work towards these qualifications alongside your course).
