What the college says
The Level 3 Sports Leadership qualification is a UK-approved occupational qualification through the Leadership Skills Foundation. Learners develop skills in planning, safely leading and evaluating sports/physical-activity sessions for diverse groups and events; communication, teamwork, inclusion, and safety are core content.
What you need to get on
The minimum entry requirements for students are the best 8 GCSE grades, totalling 38 or higher. For example, two Grade 6s, two Grade 5s, and four Grade 4s. Students also need to have secured a Grade 4 GCSE in Mathematics and English. You must have an interest in developing skills. You must be organised, committed and a good communicator. You do not need to have done any other Sports Leader qualification to do this course
