What the college says
This qualification provides an introduction to the world of travel and tourism. You will explore some of the key areas within the sector, including accommodation, tourism development, transport, visitor attractions, customer service and specialist tourism. You will learn about the importance of the travel and tourism sector to the UK and its economy, study a variety of different business types within the sector and learn about different UK and international destinations. Throughout your time on the course, you will develop key skills, such as research, report drafting and writing skills and project management.
