Aimed at School Leavers. This subject but must be studied over two years as part of our A Level programme. You will choose 3 A level subjects to study over two years. This course is designed to develop the necessary skills to allow you to progress into a variety of highly skill areas, you will develop skills that will allow you to successfully apply a practical understanding of IT into a wide variety of careers. You will cover a variety of topics relating to the use of ICT in the digital world. You will also complete two practical projects focusing on business problems and how we can use ICT to solve those problems. We have an experienced and dedicated teaching team with many years of ICT industry experience, as well as teaching experience. Most of our students go on to University, many to study ICT or Computing related courses. It is an exciting time to study an ever-evolving subject that impacts our daily lives, through the study of IT you will learn to be able to use new technologies and services to enhance decisions making and also be able to demonstrate your ability to reach out to new audiences using social media. Technology makes up a large portion of the United Kingdom economy and we are heading through a digital revolution. Information Technology allows you to be part of the future as well as preparing you with skills for jobs that have not even yet been created. What you need to get on

To study an A Level programme you will need to achieve a minimum of three grade 5s and two grade 4s at GCSE including English Language and Maths at grade 5. Each individual subject carries its own entry criteria and some subjects do require higher grades than this.
