This course of study is suitable for anyone who is interested. Specifications build on the knowledge, understanding and skills developed in GCSE Religious Studies, but does not assume or require any previous study of the subject or a religious background. Students focus on three component parts of complimentary study. The selected units are: Philosophy of Religion Religious Ethics Developments in Religious Thought - Christianity

What you need to get on

At least grade 5 in GCSE English Language and a grade 6 in a Humanities subject (full course Religious Education, History or Geography). For continuation to Year 13 grades in Year 12 Ethics and Philosophy need to demonstrate potential for A Level success.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
