Environmental Science is a course which considers the sustainability of our way of life and has the utmost relevance for many of the key issues facing the planet currently. It nurtures an understanding of environmental processes, the methods used to study them and the ways in which populations manage their environments. The applied nature of the subject ensures that topics closely relate to everyday issues and current affairs, helping you make sense of the science behind the headlines. If you have a keen interest in the principles of Ecology and issues like global warming, population growth, deforestation and energy sources then Environmental Studies will provide a stimulating forum for debate. You will also learn important transferable skills including scientific analysis and interpretation of data.
