The Personal and Social Development Course is an entry-level programme which is focused on supporting young people to develop a range of skills to help prepare them for the future both in life and work. The course covers a range of topics including goal setting, managing finances, social communication, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, independence and problem-solving. All assessments are based on in-class work and evidence. This course can lead to varied progression including Level 2 courses, work and apprenticeships. There are no specific entry requirements for this course, however, students would be expected to continue with English and maths qualifications if appropriate.
