Enrich your understanding and critical appreciation of literature by exploring narrative, genre and other key literary concepts through the study of classic and modern texts. This subject will help you gain a university place in a variety of different courses. You will consider individual, moral, ethical and social issues. You must love reading different texts and enjoy analysing the form, structure and language.
What you need to get on
--6 GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Maths--You must also have a grade C or better in English Literature--
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
