English Literature B A level
at Rainham Mark Grammar School, Gillingham · school or sixth form
What the college says
The course aims to encourage an enjoyment and appreciation of English Literature, based on informed personal response. We certainly welcome enthusiastic readers onto the course. However, we also welcome those who may not have read widely but have enjoyed discussing books, ideas and life in English lessons at GCSE. Discussion plays an important part in most lessons at A and AS level, and we hope you will learn to understand, appreciate and analyse good writing. This is a two year course and will be examined in year 13.
