What the college says

Reading helps us to learn, understand and appreciate other people, places and lives. Every historical period, geographical setting and human experience is recorded somewhere in words if not in print. Appreciating the experiences of others can tell us a lot about ourselves. Recent English Literature students have gone on to study for degrees in English, media, education, law and politics.
