English Literature - The English Literature course prepares students to be effective literary critics, exploring a range of poetry, prose and plays from across all ages and genres. Students will study and respond to Shakespeare, explore both tragedy and comedy and develop their analytical skills in their interpretation of poetry and prose. The coursework element will develop students' independent response skills, honing their own opinions and the opinions of others, through the use of a Critical Anthology to support their work.
