Paper 1: Aspects of Comedy involves the study of a Shakespeare play, modern drama, novel or poetry exploring the genre in detail. Paper 2: Texts and Genres covers elements of Political or Crime writing, studying one modern (post-2000) novel and poetry/drama, alongside an unseen text in the exam. Coursework at A Level gives the opportunity for studying critical approaches and broadening subject knowledge by pursuing individual interests.

What you need to get on

5 A*-C Grades with a minimum Grade 5 in English Literature (Grade 6 preferred) and Grade 4/5 in English Language.
