What the college says
You will be encouraged to develop a love of English Literature through a programme of wide, critical and independent reading of texts which span the centuries. You will become a more perceptive reader as you study and discuss texts from a range of genres and learn about the way writers use language, form and structure to manipulate meaning.

5 GSCE Grade 4+ including English and Maths. 6 or above in English Lit or English Language
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
