Are you ready to study a variety of poetry, novels and drama that take ineverything from how madness is depicted in Shakespeare to how authors present childhood, the supernatural andthe steamy Deep South? You will read, discuss, argue, deliver presentations, work alone or in small groups and refine your skills ofwritten accuracy in order to appreciate and analyse modern and classic literature through coursework andexamination.

Students should have achieved 5 GCSEs at grade 9 - 5 including English and Maths with grade 6 in both English Language and English Literature
